My work is primarily about solitude within the landscape, a personal experience that I find both exhilarating and overwhelming.
Currently using painting as a way of exploring and gaining knowledge of the history of the rural environment of Cranbrook and surrounding areas, Monument draws on the use of positive and negative space to explore the idea of what once was and what now remains.
